Latest car engine shocking auto industry : Researchers at Michigan State University has made a prototype gasoline engine that requires no transmission, crankshaft, pistons, valves, fuel compression, and cooling systems. This new type of engine called Disk Wave Generator (generator wave plate) that could increase the efficiency of gasoline-electric hybrid car is larger and has the potential to reduce emissions by 90 percent when compared with conventional combustion engines.
