Sports car manufacturer Ferrari ambition is to sell at least 8000 cars per year. The ambition was to be achieved because some regions of the world experiencing economic growth.

Manufacturer Ferrari is known as a maker of luxury cars and expensive. But it was not a barrier, the economic boom in some parts of the world such as India, the Middle East, Latin America and China must make sure Ferrari will be ogled by the new rich people in the region.

"A lot depends on India, Latin America and China. The growth potential here," said Ferrari chairman Luca in Montezemolo as reported by the German magazine auto motor und sport and cited auto news, Tuesday (04/26/2011).

This year is expected to reach sales of Ferrari 6800-7000 the number of units depends on the Japanese market. Because in Japan the Ferrari each year are able to sell 400 cars.

While the Ferrari sales in China this year is expected to grow from 300 units last year to 500 units this year. Sales figures of at least 8,000 units per year, is targeted to be achieved in 8 years.

"China will become our third largest market after America and Germany at the end of 2011," he concluded.
